Our Facilities Established in 1916
Established in 1916 as a horse riding facility for the then Tanganyika governor lord Cameron, Dar es Salaam Gymkhana club has over the years evolved to become the center for development of all forms of sports and entertainment.

The Dar es Salaam GymKhana Club is both the largest and oldest sports club in our nation. It is now approaching its 100th anniversary! But its fame and importance is not solely based on its age and size. The club owes its significance in its being the one location within reach of the city centre wherei its almost 5 million population have a chance and opportunity to play at an 18 - hole golf course, 14 tennis courts, 6 squash courts, ample size cricket grounds, snooker, football and rugby grounds.
